Minnesota Vikings star Jordan Addison enters plea in DUI case five months after arrest in LA
Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison pleaded not guilty to two drunken driving charges in July.
The 22-year-old entered his plea on Tuesday, five months after the arrest in Los Angeles.
Addison told a Los Angeles County judge he planned to plead a misdemeanor charge for “Driving While Under the Influence of Alcohol” and another for “Driving with a Blood Alcohol Content of 0.08%.”
The arrest occurred on July 12 when police reported finding Addison asleep behind the wheel of his Rolls Royce on a Los Angeles freeway.
If convicted, Addison — in the middle of a four-year, $13 million deal — would face a fine, loss of his license, probation and possibly a short prison sentence.

He also could face a three-game suspension for violating the NFL’s substance abuse policy.
Although he has not pleaded guilty in court, Addison appears prepared to face the consequences if he faces retaliation from the law and the NFL.
“Whatever is available to me, whatever comes with it, I will take everything into my own hands,” he said during training camp. “I feel like everything that comes my way has to happen or is deserved.”
Minnesota drafted Addison out of USC with the 23rd overall pick in 2023. So far this season, he has 36 receptions for 575 yards and four touchdowns while the Vikings are 10-2.
Their two losses came between a five-game win streak and a new winning streak that could extend to six games when they face the Falcons on Sunday.
The wide receiver has a preliminary conference scheduled for the second week of January, shortly after the Vikings wrap up the regular season in Detroit.
