Mindy Kaling bares midriff in 2-piece Manish Malhotra gown at National Museum of Asian Art dinner

The day after revealing that she walks 20 miles a week and lifts weights, six-time Emmy nominee Mindy Kaling demonstrated her 40-pound weight loss in a two-piece two-piece suit at the National Museum of Asian Art Centennial Celebration Dinner in Washington, DC.

The Massachusetts resident – who turns 44 next month – called the focus on her body transformation “flattering” but “a bit much,” which rumours are the result of the trendy diabetes drug Ozempic.

“I have a lot of confidence in my body these days, which unfortunately I haven’t been able to say in my whole life,” Mindy (née Vera Chokalingam) shared People last Wednesday.

“The truth is that I spend so much time and energy trying to be healthy. I run or walk 20 miles a week and I lift weights. It is a big obligation for me. I actually live in sportswear, so I can fit in.”

For Thursday’s event, Kaling wore a black Manish Malhotra couture dress with “4K Swarovski stones/crystals and 300 ethically sourced black feathers,” which “took 2,500 hours to embroider by hand” – according to People.
