Mimi Webb says her 2023 tour will be so “intense” that she’s setting aside time to take care of her health before hitting the road.

While attending Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball at London’s O2 Arena on Saturday, the 22-year-old singer, who was rushed to hospital with a mysterious illness last month, told MailOnline she plans to put herself first on next year.

She said: ‘I would say because of the tour, my New Year’s resolution is health, making sure I’m ready, working out and eating right to be ready, so that’s important to me. The tours are very intense.’

She plans to spend the festive period with her loved ones, with a larger group of her family members spending the holidays together.

She said: ‘I’ll be with my family, back home in the country chilling out. We’re a good 30, so let’s get together and have a great Christmas.

‘It’s good to be able to restart, prepare for the new year. I have a tour coming up in March so I’m preparing for that.

She has been singing since she was a child growing up in Canterbury, Kent, appearing in talent shows and winning a brief role in EastEnders before beginning to write her own songs.
