Mimi Webb to look after health ahead of ‘very intense’ tour

Mimi Webb says her 2023 tour will be so “intense” that she’s setting aside time to take care of her health before hitting the road.

While attending Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball at London’s O2 Arena on Saturday, the 22-year-old singer, who was rushed to hospital with a mysterious illness last month, told MailOnline she plans to put herself first on next year.

She said: ‘I would say because of the tour, my New Year’s resolution is health, making sure I’m ready, working out and eating right to be ready, so that’s important to me. The tours are very intense.’

She plans to spend the festive period with her loved ones, with a larger group of her family members spending the holidays together.

She said: ‘I’ll be with my family, back home in the country chilling out. We’re a good 30, so let’s get together and have a great Christmas.

‘It’s good to be able to restart, prepare for the new year. I have a tour coming up in March so I’m preparing for that.

Mimi rose to fame in 2020 releasing a string of emotionally charged songs after her first release Before I Go hit 85 million views on TikTok when she sang it at a New York restaurant for the social media star. Charlie D’Amelio.

She has been singing since she was a child growing up in Canterbury, Kent, appearing in talent shows and winning a brief role in EastEnders before beginning to write her own songs.

The star landed a record deal at just 18 years old and released his first EP Seven Shades Of Heartache in 2020 to great success.

Mimi had a ‘scary’ run to the hospital last month when she shared a photo of herself lying in a hospital bed on social media.

Urging fans to “always listen to your body” in the caption, the snap showed a cannula attached to Mimi’s arm along with a blood pressure cuff.

She wrote: ‘A bit scary last night. Listen to your body always.

‘I’m going to be away for a while taking some time to rest, but I love you very much. Come back soon.
