Millionaire Hot Seat scrapped: Eddie McGuire speaks out after Channel Nine decision

The longest-running game show on Australian television Millionaire Hot Seat has been discontinued.
Millionaire Hot Seat, which is hosted by Eddie McGuire, will go on hiatus at the end of January next year.
The show has given away millions over the years to Aussies who entered the show.
“It is with great pride and joy as well as sadness that I announce this morning that Millionaire Hot Seat is closing at the end of January next year,” Eddie said on 3AW.
“There will be a replacement show on the Nine Network at 5pm after we reach our 25th anniversary as we enter 2024.”
