The beauty posted a candid update to her 1.4 million followers, sharing that the decision to stop using alcohol was the result of a “breakthrough in therapy.”
Speaking about the decision to quit alcohol, she also noted the health benefits she’s experienced since quitting.
“I had a breakthrough in therapy and decided to stop drinking alcohol, I didn’t want to admit it, but it’s a huge trigger for my anxiety. It has a direct negative effect on my mental health and right now I am focused on feeling my best, finding happiness in my life and not trying to escape it,” she wrote.

“I’m not saying I’ll never drink alcohol again, I’m just saying that now, I’m not doing that and I want to keep going. Did someone else dump the booze? How do you like it? I like to hear from more down-to-earth curious people.’
And by providing insight into her journey with anxiety medication, Millie revealed that while it has improved her mental health, she’s lowering her dosage because it also leaves her “emotionally numb.”
Writing: ‘Overall I’m a lot less anxious which is great, I’m still on my SSRI meds but I’ve recently lowered my dose as I was feeling a bit emotionally numb and disconnected, which is apparently about 30% of the time. can affect the people.
“I’ll see how it goes over the next few weeks and maybe I’ll stop taking my meds by the end of the year, then stay off them or try others.
“It’s a tough decision because I really benefit from it and function well without constant anxiety and live in fear of panic attacks, but I also still want to feel all the good emotions!” she concluded.
Millie accompanied the long post with a radiant selfie, showing off her fresh complexion.
Talking about her relationship with alcohol in 2016, the star explained to Stellar magazine that she always tries to keep it healthy.
“When I drink, I have tequila and soda, or tequila on the rocks, both with fresh lime. This is a fairly clean and relatively low-calorie drink. Or I order a glass of red; I’ll just take one glass and keep it full,’ she said.
Millie is married to former Made In Chelsea star Hugo Taylor and the couple are parents to daughters Sienna, two, and Aurelia, 12 months.
And in August, she took to social media to explain that she saw a therapist to deal with some “painful experiences” from her teenage years and that the medication was helpful.
