Millie Bobby Brown reminisced about her time on Stranger Things and said she’s “nowhere near ready to leave the series” while filming the show’s final episode.
On Friday, the 20-year-old actress took her with her Instagram page to share an emotional video of her final tribute in which she choked up and thanked the cast and crew.
And on her last day of filming the Netflix hit, she cried, “Shouldn’t graduation bring relief? As if you are happy to leave the teachers and classmates behind. Not me.
‘I’m not ready to leave you yet. I love you all and will forever carry with me the memories and bonds we created together as a family. I love you, thank you,” she added.
After bursting into tears after her speech on set, the actress was met by a sweet hug from one of her colleagues and claps from others.
Filming began in January and while no official release date has been posted yet, Netflix has confirmed that season 5 of Stranger Things will hit the platform in 2025.. Earlier on Friday, the streaming giant revealed that production had wrapped on the final episode via X.

“with love, el ,” the Florence by Mills founder wrote in the caption, also sharing a carousel of throwback snaps from the set.
Last month, Netflix revealed the titles of the eight episodes of the final season of the popular horror/sci-fi series.
Episode one is titled The Crawl, episode two is The Vanishing of…, episode three is called The Turnbow Trap, episode four is Sorcerer, episode five is Shock Jock, episode six is called Escape from Camazotz, episode seven is The Bridge and the finale is The Rightside Up.
The series finale episode is aptly named The Rightside Up, as a nod to the 2016 pilot titled The Upside Down.
Millie rose to fame at the age of 12 when she played Eleven in Stranger Things.
And in March she told the Today show: ‘We’re filming now and it feels good. It’s our last season. We are very excited to be together again for one last hurray.”
Reflecting on her journey, she expressed mixed feelings about saying goodbye to the character that catapulted her to stardom in an interview with ComingSoon in February.
She admitted: “It feels sad. Every day we go on set we think: it’s the last second day, the last third day. But we certainly all embrace it.”
Despite saying goodbye to her beloved character Eleven, Jake Bongiovi’s wife has previously indicated that she is willing to explore new horizons.
In March she told CBR: ‘I’m definitely ready to finish. I feel like a lot of the story has now been told. I can create stories that are important to me and focus on the bigger picture.’
