Fans are accusing Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown, 20, of being “weighed down by filler,” claiming the former child star looked “much older” in a new photoshoot.

The actress recently posed for the latest clothing line from her brand Florence by Mills, but after the images were shared on Reddit, people rushed to the comments section to discuss her apparent change in appearance.

Many wondered if the Enola Holmes alum had enhanced her features with the help of injections and were quickly disappointed.

“She looks 40 already. It’s really sad,” one person wrote.

“Her face looks like it’s been weighed down with fillers,” someone else said.

A third person commented: ‘She’s so young, why is she already working on her face?’

‘Imagine my shock when I read she’s 20. I can already see lip fillers. What’s going on?’ asked another user.

“I feel so sorry for the societal pressure that pushes such young girls to do this,” read a fifth comment.

‘She looks so much older than she is, it feels like she’s depriving herself of a few stages in life.’

“With all that filler and makeup she looks 15 years older than she is,” said someone else.

However, others were quick to defend the star.

“It’s the makeup and Photoshop,” someone insisted. “She looks old when you see her without makeup in videos.”

“People have turned against her in an ugly way, based on these comments,” another defender scathingly said.

‘Can someone get fillers at the age of 20 without feeling extremely insecure about their appearance?

“It’s not really something she should be criticised for. I find this absolute glee with which people are shaming her disgusting… it’s just mean.”

Millie, who came into the spotlight at the age of 12 thanks to her role in the Netflix hit Stranger Things, previously spoke out about her insecurities to Enchanting magazine.

“I feel awful today,” she told the publication in 2023. “I have a huge pimple on my face.

“And I’m going to look on Instagram, and I’m going to see five different girls who look beautiful, perfect, stunning, and, okay, amazing.”

She added that she would probably end up “crying” because “she knew she didn’t look like that.”

She also recalls a time when she was accused of “trying to steal the show” from her Stranger Things co-stars after she “shouted them out” during an interview when she was just a child.

“I was just being punished for talking too much, sharing too much, being too loud. That’s hard to hear when you’re 13,” she admitted.

“You’re like, ‘I never want to talk again. I don’t want to be the loud person.’” [After that] During interviews I couldn’t help but think about all the comments.

“So I figured I had to stay quiet and talk when I was being talked to, even though I really wanted to participate. I just felt like it wasn’t my turn yet.”

She said she felt in retrospect that the public scrutiny had “mentally eroded” her and “stunted her growth.”

“You can’t talk about minors,” the actress said. “I mean, our brains aren’t physically fully developed yet.

“To stunt and hinder someone’s spiritual growth, to undress them and say, ‘Hey, listen, you don’t look that great,’ or ‘Why are you wearing that?’ or ‘How dare you think you can wear that?’ or ‘How dare you say that?’”

During the 2023 interview, she admitted she still had “trust issues” over the incident. “I don’t have many friends.”

‘Yes, I shut out a lot of people. I’m a reserved person, socially speaking.’
