Millie Bobby Brown, 19, reveals fiancé Jake Bongiovi, 21, is ‘very involved’ with planning their ‘intimate’ wedding: ‘It’s not been stressful at all for me’
Millie Bobby Brown won’t be a bridezilla thanks to her fiancé, Jake Bongiovi, who she revealed is “very involved” in their wedding plans, making it a stress-free affair for her.
The Stranger Things actress, 19, announced in April that she is engaged to 21-year-old Jake – the son of rock star Jon Bon Jovi – after two years of dating.
Although Millie has yet to confirm whether a date has been set for the “intimate” ceremony, she said on Friday’s episode of the Today show that the couple is largely sharing the planning.
She joined Jenna Bush Hager, 41, and Hoda Kotb, 59, to promote her new book, Nineteen Steps, which was released earlier this week and said, “It hasn’t been stressful for me at all.

The 19-year-old Stranger Things actress, who has been together with her other half for more than two years, announced her engagement in April
‘Jake is very involved, he is very helpful during the whole process. I’ve never felt alone in it, which I like.
“I’m thinking, ‘Is this a good idea?’ But at the end of the day, it’s a very intimate day for both of us and we’re excited about it.”
Host Hoda was desperate to see if Livin’ On A Prayer hitmaker Jon Bon Jovi, 61, would perform on the big day.
“I feel like that’s like asking me to do a full play for everyone,” Millie responded, before adding, “I think the man needs a break, he’s not stopping.” He’s always busy with tennis or singing lessons.’
“He could just be the groom’s father!” Jenna joked.
“Exactly,” Millie agreed. “That would be wild… I don’t know if he’ll be able to do that.”
This isn’t the first time Millie has expressed her excitement about her big day.
Speaking to Women’s Wear Daily last month, the star opened up about her preference for keeping the marriage low-key.

“I can say that the planning is progressing,” she told the publication. ‘It’s so much fun. And it’s such an exciting time in my life.’
“It just feels unnatural to me to see everyone’s opinion and eyes on that,” she said of wedding planning.
“So I think it’s important to hold those things – those little, precious moments in life – very close to your chest.”
Millie and Jake announced their engagement on Instagram earlier this year after two years of dating.
Last month, she told the Sunday Times that he proposed with a ring from her mother, Kelly.
“I always loved that ring, it always stuck with me, so she gave it to Jake,” Millie said.

She said: ‘I was interested in him and wanted to know more. As soon as we spoke, I knew he was going to be a big part of my life.
‘I ran to my mother and said, “I really like him!” After we met, we knew we never wanted to leave each other’s side.”
She continued, “You can’t pinpoint exactly why, it’s just the feeling of knowing that’s the person you want to spend the rest of your time with.
“I think a lot of life is thinking too much. The only thing that was clear to me was him. So I didn’t really have to think much.’
Millie rose to fame as Eleven in the hit Netflix series Stranger Things before landing roles in the Enola Holmes and Godzilla franchises.
She also founded her own skin care and beauty line, Florence by Mills.
