A military helicopter created a penis-shaped flight pattern over Malta, but officials insist the ballsy stunt was not deliberate.
The phallic flight pattern took place above the skies of the island of Comino, and it managed to turn several heads in the aviation industry.
An Armed Forces of Malta’s (AFM) helicopter was responsible for the questionable route, but it was first spotted by popular website flightradar24.com.
The website tweeted a screenshot of the helicopter’s unusual flight path with the caption: ‘Meanwhile in Malta…’

The helicopter said to have created the image is an AW139, an AFM aircraft which, according to the manufacturer’s website, is ‘a helicopter that can adapt to multiple missions’ and boasts ‘superior performance’.
Many assumed the ballsy stunt had been a deliberate effort, as flight number AS1429 included a series of intentional looking.
However the AFM told the Times of Malta the flight pattern, shared by flightradar24, had been ‘printed out of context’.
A spokesperson said: ‘The flight tracking shown was segmented as the helicopter was flying low altitude and did not show the completed flight path.’

The cheeky sighting on was hard to ignore as the US KC-135 Stratotanker refueling plane outlined the ballsy drawing over Russia’s naval facility in Tartus off the Mediterranean, according to Politico.
US military members took off in the planes amid the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine.
It’s unclear whether the drawing was intentional or where the refueling plane came from.
While in 2020 Two Russian pilots allegedly carried out a penis-shaped flight pattern in a show of support for the captain of Russia’s national soccer team who was axed after a video of him performing a sex act surfaced online.
The unnamed crew of Pobeda airline were put under investigation for stunt which was reportedly done to back the Russian team captain Artem Dzyuba.
Dzyuba was suspended from international duty after footage showing him masturbating in bed was leaked online in a possible blackmail case.
