Miley Cyrus considering playing Dolly Parton in a biopic

Miley Cyrus joked in a new interview about the ways in which she has emulated her legendary godmother Dolly Parton.

The 30-year-old pop star was asked about ME! News about the possibility of playing Dolly in a biopic sometime down the road.

If she did, going into Dolly’s look evidently wouldn’t be overkill, as Miley quipped, “I get sucked and poked and shaved, just like she taught me.”

She said, “Dolly and I have never talked, honestly, about me playing Dolly because I feel like I’m already doing it.”

When it comes to looking like Dolly, who is famous for her sizable bust, Miley said, “I don’t know what they’re going to do to me.”

The duo are scheduled to co-host Miley’s New Year’s Eve party live from Miami, welcoming a host of star-studded guests for a special to air on NBC.

Miley was born into a country music family, the daughter of fiery singer Billy Ray Cyrus, who became a one-hit wonder with Achy Breaky Heart.

He has often shown his affection for Dolly and even released a cover of the country icon’s hit single Jolene.

Dolly shared some warm words for Miley in 2019 when the younger singer was going through a turbulent period in her love life.

That year, Miley split from her husband Liam Hemsworth and then embarked on a whirlwind summer romance with Brody Jenner’s ex, Kaitlynn Carter, before falling into the arms of her longtime friend Cody Simpson.

Dolly commented to People: ‘Lord, I have done everything, and what I have not done, I intend to do. She’s going to do that, too. But Miley is smart; Miley knows what she’s doing.

Goofing around: When it comes to looking physically like Dolly (right back in 1986), Miley (she left last week) said, “I don’t know what they’re going to do to me.”

Uncanny resemblance: Dolly appears with Miley in a 2007 episode of the Disney Channel sitcom Hannah Montana.

She added: “I know we think she doesn’t, and she may not every minute, but I still know she’s got good stuff in her.”

Dolly shared that ‘I’ve told her some things that I think are valuable and that she uses, but I’d rather live by example’ and ‘be an example instead of trying to tell someone to do this, to do it because I don’t think that is correct.

The 9 to 5 star added: ‘Everyone is different. You have your own trip. And some people are going to help you along the way and they can move some stones out of the way for you, but you have to walk.’
