A South American migrant was verbally attacked for ten minutes by his neighbor.
Brandon, who arrived from Colombia 18 months ago, filmed the man’s tirade on his phone after jumping a fence and confronting him outside the Mile End apartment complex in Adelaide’s west.
“Don’t stand there and tell me what to do in my own f***ing country, you asshole. It’s my country,” the neighbor said.
The man then began a series of insults and threatened to physically assault Brandon.
“I’m going in there, I’m going to get my gun and I’m going to fucking shoot you,” the man said.
Brandon says he now worries that the man will have another angry outburst and will no longer be able to relax where he lives.
“I feel scared because he is bigger than me, maybe he is drunk, he has beer bottles with him,” he said Nine news.
Three months ago, he moved into the Mile End apartment building, next door to the man’s single-storey Federation-style home.

The neighbor (pictured) told Brandon that Australia was his country and threatened violence
Despite the incident, Brandon said he is very fond of Australia.
‘I love Australia, I really do… I have a special place in my heart. I really would love to stay here.’
The man in the video denied being racist to Nine News, but would not comment further.
