Mila Kunis admitted that she and her husband Ashton Kutcher feel comfortable leaving the bathroom door open while they are at home with children Wyatt and Dimitri.

The 39-year-old That 70s Show alum told e! News that if her daughter and son, seven and five, “knocked every two seconds,” she would eventually stop closing the barrier.

‘For better or worse, as a family, [we] have all kinds of embodied bodily functions as a very standard norm,” she told the outlet.

Ukrainian-born Kunis said closing the door never worked in her household with the Punk’d star.

“It doesn’t matter if I close it. It never made a difference,” she told journalist Francesca Amiker during a press tour for her upcoming film Luckiest Girl Alive.

The topic came up after she was asked, “What was one thing you promised never to do in any of your relationships and now you’re doing it shamelessly?”

“Frankly, our doors are always open in our house. We don’t have closed doors in our house – that includes the bathroom,” the actress revealed.

“I never thought I’d be the person who could go to the bathroom with the door open,” she began the statement.

She finally gave in, explained and said she thought, ‘Oh, forget it. Just keep the damn door open!’

Their last home in Beverly Hills had five bathrooms, but the family must have been especially drawn to one of them.

Mila is no stranger to discussing her domestic life with Iowa-born Kutcher.

In 2021, the parents sparked an internet frenzy when she admitted they only bathe their offspring when they get visibly dirty.

“If you can see the dirt on them, clean them. Otherwise it makes no sense,” Kutcher said during the Armchair Expert podcast.

And Kunis was still thinking when she added, “I wasn’t that parent bathing my newborn babies — ever. I didn’t have hot water as a child, so I didn’t shower much anyway.’

The couple met when they were cast on That ’70s Show, and they recently reprise their roles as Jackie Burkhart and Michael Kelso for the upcoming spin-off, That ’90s Show.

That 1970s show ran from 1998 to 2006, and the two actors remained friends throughout.

Years later, they became romantically involved and tied the knot in 2015 – two years after Kutcher split from ex-wife Demi Moore.
