Mikel Arteta has warned that Arsenal may not sign anyone this month despite their faltering title challenge.
The Gunners lost consecutive Premier League games for the first time this season over the festive period after being beaten by West Ham and Fulham.
Their poor form has been accompanied by an ever-growing injury list, with Oleksandr Zinchenko, Fabio Vieira, Thomas Partey and Jurrien Timber all currently out, while Mohamed Elneny and Takehiro Tomiyasu head to AFCON and the Asian Cup respectively.
The Gunners have been linked with several players this month, including Ajax defender Jorrel Hato, Girona left-back Miguel Gutierrez and Brentford striker Ivan Toney, with fans highlighting the need for Arteta to strengthen.
However, the Spaniard insisted that while they were keen to make moves, there was a chance no one would be added.
