Mike Tyson surprised Logan Paul by pulling out a bag of magic mushrooms during an appearance on his podcast.
The 58-year-old fighter is currently preparing for an eight-round boxing match against Jake Paul on November 14. Earlier this week, he was a guest on his brother Logan’s podcast Impaulsive.
Logan first asked Tyson if he had cut back on his cannabis use in preparation for his first return to the ring since facing Roy Jones Jr. in an exhibition match in November 2020.
Tyson responded, “A little bit,” after which Paul’s co-host asked the former undisputed heavyweight king about his recreational use of psilocybin mushrooms.
Without hesitation, Tyson pulled a bag of the stuff out of his back pocket, to which Maljak asked if he had taken any today.

The 58-year-old revealed he will continue taking them as he prepares for his showdown with Jake Paul
“I have to take them with me when I train, I always train with my mushrooms,” Tyson said.
“I work out with mushrooms. I feel so beautiful, it takes me to heaven, baby.”
When asked if he would continue to use the drug, which is classified as Class A in the UK and is illegal to buy, sell or possess, until the date of the match, Tyson provided a clarification.
He said, ‘When I’m not using mushrooms, I’m using…mushroom residue. I’m not using mushrooms, I’m using mushroom residue.’
The clash with Jake was met with much criticism, especially after Tyson had to pull out of the originally scheduled date due to a medical emergency on a plane.
The event is officially recognized as a professional bout by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations. This is Tyson’s first appearance since he was defeated by Kevin McBride in 2005 before hanging up his gloves.

Paul vs Tyson will take place over eight two-minute rounds at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas
The showdown, scheduled for November 15, will be a professional match sanctioned by the Texas Commission
Unlike most professional fights, both fighters wear 14oz gloves and the fight lasts two minutes instead of the standard three-minute rounds.
During a press conference for the event earlier this week, Paul claimed that it was Tyson who requested the rule changes prior to the event.
“You were the one who wanted eight two-minute bullets,” the 27-year-old said.
