Aussie boxing legend Jeff Fenech swears the Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul fight will end in a very early knockout
Four-division world champion Jeff Fenech is confident his good friend Mike Tyson will overcome his 31-year age difference with Jake Paul and knock out the YouTuber very early in their blockbuster fight this weekend.
Paul and Tyson meet in the highly anticipated fight on November 16, Australian time, at AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Texas.
There will be a crowd of more than 80,000 fans in attendance, with boxing industry experts claiming ‘Iron Mike’ could be pocketing as much as $30 million.
Fenech is a close friend of the 58-year-old boxer and has previously trained the fighter once dubbed ‘the worst man on the planet’.
Fenech revealed his predictions and backed Tyson to make a comeback forever.
“If it’s the Mike Tyson I think will enter the ring, it will be over very, very quickly,” the ‘Marrickville Mauler’ said. Sporty news.
‘Of course I would hate it if my friend got hurt. Now that I have seen what he has done and experienced [in training for the fight]I think he’s doing fine.
“If he does it right, I think it’ll be about a minute and his hand will go up and Jake Paul will be taken out.”

Fenech previously described what he believes is the ideal strategy for Iron Mike to follow on fight night.
“I just told him what I think he should do: don’t hit him [Paul]“Don’t hit at the same time as Jake Paul,” he said.
“Just make him miss and make him pay.
“If he throws one punch, it could be over in forty seconds.”
Fenech was there for the former heavyweight fighter during some of the low parts of his life and supported Tyson through Alcoholics Anonymous classes.
While some wondered if Tyson could still face the 27-year-old YouTuber turned boxer, Fenech claimed Tyson was in good shape ahead of the fight.
“You don’t lose that power, and his greatest quality was that he could make someone miss and then make him pay,” said Fenech, who trained Tyson ahead of his exhibition fight against Roy Jones Jr.
‘He’s 58 but he looks great and he sounds great – he’s confident. It made me very happy.’
Speaking about Tyson’s chances, he believed he would claim an easy victory over Paul and knock out the American fighter.
Having supported Tyson throughout his career, the American had also given back after Fenech fell ill earlier this year. Tyson reportedly Facetimed the Australian boxing champion who held titles in three weight classes.
Fenech is seen training Mike Tyson for a fight in March 2005. The two world champions have been friends for decades.
However, Fenech will not be able to attend the fight in Texas next week. But he praised Tyson, saying: ‘It’s amazing to change his life as much as he has. He’s special.’
Tyson, meanwhile, has shown shades of his old self in training, showcasing his fearsome punching power and intensity after several videos of his training regimen went viral.
Rafael Cordeiro, his trainer, told NewsCorp: ‘I look at him and I see him doing moves, sometimes I have to go back to being 25. And I look at him and think, ‘Wow.’ He surprises me.
‘The power is incredible. There’s no one like Mike, why? Because there is no one who is 57 years old doing what he does.”
