Mike Tyson had a hilarious reaction to the result of Tyson Fury’s Battle of the Baddest fight against Francis Ngannou.

The Gypsy King took on the former MMA star in Riyadh on Saturday in one of the most highly anticipated fights of the year.

Fury narrowly won the fight via split decision on a score of 94-95, 96-93, 95-94, but Ngannou left with plenty of credit after a fine performance in his first ever professional boxing fight.

And Tyson – who helped train the former MMA star for the fight – snapped back at a reporter in the wake of the result being announced.

Tyson was asked, ‘Mike, how did you score that (fight)?’

The former heavyweight then moved his head towards the camera and replied: ‘How did you score it?’

The reporter then responded, “I thought Francis won?”, before Tyson added, “You’re right.”

He was then asked if Ngannou was robbed by the score, but Tyson was magnanimous when he said, “No, it wasn’t a robbery. But everyone knows the outcome.’

After the fight, Ngannou – who was praised by Fury for his performance – was satisfied despite the defeat.

He said: ‘I feel great, I feel fantastic. I’m very happy. I may be hurt, but I won’t be hit today – I can bite. I’m just a fighter and I’m ready to fight soon.

‘We can turn it back around and I’m sure I’ll get better. This was my first boxing match, great experience. There is no excuse, I know I came up short.

‘But I’m going to go back and work harder with a little experience this time, a little more feeling for the game and I’ll come back stronger.

‘At first I was a bit nervous about this new sport that I have never done. Now I know I can do this.

‘Get ready, because there’s a wolf in the house! I’m gonna bite some s***.’
