Mike Tyson: From the Baddest Man on the Planet to a business tycoon! Boxing icon is branching out into cannabis production, podcasting and Hollywood movies as he reveals his worst hangover to Mail Sport

Former ring star Mike Tyson has become a successful businessman, venturing into entertainment, cannabis and podcasting, making a remarkable transition from boxing to entrepreneurship.

Catching up with Mail Sport, Tyson revealed exactly how he became the baddest man in the world. He said: “My philosophy for fighting people and knocking them out was just putting as much pressure on them as possible. It was just busy, busy, busy. Let them make mistakes and then counter with a knockout. Simple as that.’

Now Iron Mike has shared the philosophy behind his latest venture, Tyson Pro. He cited the motivation for the brand from a phrase close to his heart: “Will-vs-Skill.”

Tyson believes the phrase embodies the ideology that discipline is the key to success and growth, and that hard work is more important than raw talent.

Tyson said, “Discipline is doing what you don’t like to do, but pretending you like it. A fighter must embody this saying, and with the right tools and the will to commit, they can become champions.”

Discussing his range with RingTV, Tyson said: “I believe my equipment is as good as any equipment in the world, if not better. My gloves are well padded and they are light.

‘The headgear is very light and comfortable. I had people train in the equipment and they told me they liked the gloves and the equipment. That’s all I needed to hear. I would like to remain involved in my sport and that is why I contribute something to the sport with my equipment.’
