Mike Tyson claims Jamie Foxx has ‘suffered a stroke’

Jamie Foxx is believed to have suffered a stroke, according to Mike Tyson, after it was previously claimed he suffered a mysterious health scare last month.

The actor, 55, has been treated at a Chicago facility that specializes in treating adults with “serious complex conditions,” including stroke recovery.

During a performance on the Value management podcast, ex-boxer Mike said of Jamie, “He’s not feeling well. They said stroke. I have no idea what happened to him.’

Born Eric Bishop, Jamie was filming the action comedy Back In Action with Cameron Diaz in Atlanta, Georgia, in April when he was admitted to the hospital.

According to reports, Jamie’s health scare has thrown filming into chaosand Cameron, 51, filmed body doubles in his absence.

Jamie’s daughter Corinne was one of the actor’s visitors at the physical rehabilitation center this weekend.

Pictured was Corrine arriving at the facility, which is touted as the best rehabilitation center in the country, treating “the most serious, complex conditions.”

It specializes in treating serious conditions such as strokes, traumatic brain injuries and spinal cord injuries.

His good friend Dave Brown also visited the facility and spent time chatting with Corinne before visiting the star.

On May 12, Corrine spoke out to share an update on his condition, insisting her father had “been out of the hospital for weeks.”

Jamie is said to have arrived at the facility in late April and is “recovering well” after initial treatment at an Atlanta hospital.

At the time of the alleged stroke, Jamie was filming Back In Action, which is funded by Netflix and is Cameron’s comeback movie after she stopped filming.

TThe project has faced a number of difficulties, including Jamie reportedly firing some crew members, while the film is delayed.

A source told The sun“This has been a disaster, and Cameron must be wondering what she was thinking when she got back.

But the truth is that Jamie’s health issues now look pretty serious and those delays before may seem pretty minor in comparison. Of course it is very sad and everyone wishes him all the best.’

MailOnline has reached out to representatives for Jamie, Mike and Netflix for comment.

Cameron was spotted filming Back In Action sporting two different body doubles for her co-star Jamie while in hospital for tests last month.

A week after the Oscar winner suffered a “medical complication” in Atlanta, Georgia, on April 11, the Charlie’s Angels star continued shooting scenes for their upcoming action comedy, due out in early 2024.

While the artist was unable to shoot with Jamie as he is being treated for his undisclosed illness, she appeared in high spirits as she stepped in front of the cameras with one of the actor’s stand-ins.

The moment marked her first day back on set since Jamie was taken to hospital following his medical emergency.

Corinne confirmed in a statement via Instagram on Friday that her father is currently receiving “good care” and is “already on the road to recovery.”

His last film shoot in Atlanta seems to have been a surprisingly stressful ordeal for the Baby Driver actor, as well as his peers.

In March, it was reported that Jamie ‘had an absolute meltdown’ while the film was being shot in the UK, leading to the firing of several people.

He reportedly landed an executive producer on the project, along with two directors and even his own driver.

According to The Sun, an employee was fired in connection with an apparent scam to gain access to £33,000 in cash from the actor, allegedly in connection with the sale of a Rolex watch.

There was even more drama when it was revealed that production was halted last month after an unexploded WWII-era bomb was discovered on the London film set just before two major action sequences were set to be filmed.
