Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind has been announced, a brand new 2D brawler that will be released later this year.
Announced during Summer Game Fest 2024, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind is an all-new adventure described as an original storyline “that respects the lore of Power Rangers and remixes it with scenarios” with gameplay that will be both familiar and new to Power Rangers fans.
“Players will battle, blast, brawl and ride through a constantly changing mix of classic game genres and favorite moments from the series,” said developer Digital Eclipse.
In Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewindwill pit players against a robotic reincarnation of the Power Rangers’ old enemy, Robo-Rita, who has summoned a portal to send herself back in time so she can finally defeat the Power Rangers.
The game will also feature online and offline co-op gameplay, allowing up to five players to transform into their Power Ranger of choice and even pilot their own Zord.
