The baby news comes after Weiss put on a pair of skates for the first time in almost three decades.

“The last time I skated was the last day D3 was filmed,” the 45-year-old actor said in October, referring to 1996’s D3: The Mighty Ducks.

Weiss continued, “It’s like riding a bike. With bones that are thirty years old.’

The Montvale, New Jersey, resident said he donned the hockey gear as a sponsor for the FunkAway brand, an odor-eliminating spray.

The actor was seen wearing a goalie mask and a black jersey with yellow trim that said Ducks on the front.

Weiss, who has appeared on TV shows such as The King of Queens, Las Vegas and Freaks and Greeks, was featured in a clip selling Goldberg replica hockey sticks via his website.

Weiss, who has appeared in films such as Huggin Molly and Drillbit Taylor, wrote in the promotional video: “These mini sticks remind me of day 1 of training camp.”

“Celebrate D2’s 30th anniversary with this brand new commemorative item,” read a description of the $100 item. “A replica of my original hockey stick! Fabric tape can be applied to the blade and pommel for a highly authentic piece of movie memorabilia. When you hold this stick, YOU Goldberg are the goalie.”

Weiss went to the location on February 21 and said he had not broken his four-year streak of sobriety.

“I’m fine, you don’t have to worry about me, but thank you, it’s very sweet,” he said.

Weiss expressed concern that there was a red substance on his forehead, noting that it was “sacred ashes” of famed yoga practitioner Sadhguru.

Weiss wiped the substance off his head in a video, telling his followers, “Okay, is that better for you?”

Weiss was seen in an earlier clip expressing his gratitude for being able to work in the entertainment industry.

“I get to go out and fly to Florida and hang out with fans and have a great weekend and I get paid for it,” he said. “This is a great life: thank you so much, that’s ridiculous and I look forward to seeing you there.”

Weiss also spoke to TMZ about fans’ concerns and told the outlet that he remains focused on staying sober moving forward.

“If I ever need help, I promise I will reach out to people,” he said. “Don’t back away.”

Weiss told the outlet that the ashes were part of a “spiritual practice” he was involved in that was “a game-changer in terms of [his] overall balance and levels of joy.”

Weiss has been outspoken on his journey to sobriety, speaking publicly about his past addiction to drugs like heroin and methamphetamine, which at one point led him to experience homelessness.

In a September 2022 interview on the YouTube channel Addiction Talk, Weiss said it was “hard to watch” images of himself when he was in the throes of addiction and looking “terrible and deadly.”

In the interview, Weiss said that being a child star made him “an adrenaline junkie,” which sowed the seeds for the addiction problems he would face in his future.

“For me, things were a lot more exciting than for the average 13-year-old: traveling, flying to places and being in movies,” Weiss said of his childhood. “So I was very addicted to the excitement of things. And when that went away, I didn’t really know how to get that feeling. And I found that in drugs.’
