Middlesbrough 1-1 Huddersfield: Michael Carrick’s side continue to look for first Championship win of the season after Huddersfield deadlock

Hayden Hackney’s attack saved Middlesbrough’s draw against Huddersfield in the Championship on Saturday.

The result leaves Michael Carrick’s pre-season play-off favorites still looking for their first league win of the season as Huddersfield join them one point from their opening three games.

Neil Warnock’s side took the lead shortly after the break when Deal Fry fired past his own keeper in the 47th minute.

Enjoying the best of the action at Riverside Stadium, the home side pushed through their superiority and managed to find an equalizer through Hackney on the hour mark.

Despite pushing through the final stages, no goal was to be found for Carrick’s side, who must wait another week to break their duck.
