Markella looked stunning in a floor-length satin gown with a plunging V-neck and a contrasting black sequin bodice.

The dress fell elegantly around her figure, while the white satin fell gracefully to the floor.

The striking black detail on the top of the dress, adorned with sequins, added a touch of drama to the classic silhouette.

Her auburn hair was styled in a sleek, modern bob with bangs that framed her face beautifully.

Her makeup remained soft and natural.

In addition to Markella, the male lead Charlie Vickers, who plays the role of Sauron, also appeared on the red carpet.

This new trailer, revealed Thursday during Amazon’s first-ever presentation in New York City, gives a taste of Sauron’s power via Prime Video YouTube and is available to watch beginning August 29.

The trailer opens with a prophetic image of Mount Dune, where the One Ring would be thrown into the flames in the Lord of the Rings book/film trilogy.

β€œAn evil, ancient and powerful, has returned,” Durin (Owain Arthur) proclaims, presumably to the other dwarves of Khazad-dum.
