Made in Chelsea’s Verity Bowditch has reportedly come under fire for closing two of her Clean Kitchen Club restaurants 18 months after opening.
According Sun workers have been made redundant as two of London’s restaurants in Notting Hill and Soho will be closed this week, while another three will remain open.
Reality star Verity, 27, and businessman Mikey Pearce, 30, went into business together and launched the network in 2021.
But a source told the publication: ‘It’s a business that is not sustainable.
They didn’t know what they were doing.

According to the newspaper, a worker said: “They sent me an email saying I had lost my job and then I went on Instagram and saw Verity looking glamorous and bragging about her international calls.”
MailOnline has contacted a representative for Verity and Mikey for comment.
On Sunday, Mikey took to Instagram to share a photo of himself at the Camden location to say it was closing briefly for remodeling.
Verity kicked off 2021 by becoming a co-owner of Clean Kitchen Club, which is a sustainable, plant-based food business in London.
After growing up surrounded by animals on a farm in Dorset and becoming a Pilates instructor in 2020, Verity has focused her life on clean living, and now she’s eager to spread the word.
She said: ‘I’ve been a vegetarian all my life and as soon as I educated myself about factory farming, the more I had to go fully vegan.
‘So now, I’ve become a member of the Clean Kitchen Club and we’ve been working behind the scenes for months.
‘Opening and staffing a start-up during lockdown: It’s hard.

“But we’ve just opened two more sites in Boxpark and Battersea, so it’s amazing that we’ve done so much with the business.”
She added: ‘People are still going to eat meat, I know.
‘I don’t want to preach, each to his own, each has his own life but if you’re going to do it, do it in a more ethical way.
‘We’re also on a mission to become carbon neutral, so we’re working with One Tree Planted, so every meal you order; you plant a tree in Ghana, which is amazing.’
