MIC’s Emily Blackwell beams in sweet family snaps after revealing she welcomed baby daughter prematurely two months ago before gruelling 53 days in ICU
Emily Blackwell beamed as she shared sweet family snaps with her fiancé Jordan Oldershaw and newborn daughter on Thursday.
The Made In Chelsea star, 28, revealed last week that the couple had prematurely welcomed their daughter Eva June almost two months ago.
Their first child was born ten weeks prematurely and was forced to spend 53 days in intensive care in an incubator, which Emily described as the “hardest time” of her and Jordan’s lives.
But the family are now enjoying their time together as Emily took to Instagram to share a sweet video of the trio getting ready for a winter walk.
Emily wrote: “Mummy and daddy walking” as they pushed the stroller together.
The new mum looked radiant as she donned a stylish black coat and cream hat.

The star also shared a collection of snaps from the 2024 round as she confessed: “2024 the most memorable, beautiful and yet challenging year of my life.”
Emily previously announced that she was pregnant in September just three weeks after announcing her and Jordan’s engagement.
And last week, she shared a montage of the little one’s time in the hospital, from the moment he was hooked up to the equipment until he was finally healthy enough to go home.
Emily wrote in the lengthy caption: ‘Hello world Eva June Oldershaw born 3.11.2024. After 53 days in the NICU, our little miracle is finally home. Eva was born more than 10 weeks prematurely.’
“To say that the past few months have been the most difficult times of our lives would be an understatement.”
She continued: ‘Not being able to take our baby home for two months, feeling out of control, staring at monitors for hours, listening to the beeps and alarms going off, not knowing what the day will bring .’

Last week, she shared a montage of the little one’s time in the hospital, from the moment he was hooked up to equipment until he was finally well enough to go home.
‘I stared at Eva through an incubator with wires everywhere and felt completely helpless as I asked the nurses to help us hold our baby. This is not how I imagined it… But Eva is a tough girl and I am so incredibly grateful that she is now here at home with us and healthy.’
Emily continued: “I can’t thank the NHS enough, and especially Chelsea Westminster Hospital. The midwives, doctors and nurses are ABSOLUTE angels, to whom we will forever be indebted.”
“Even though it wasn’t what I had planned, I’m still so grateful for the journey we went on. We have had 10 extra weeks with our little girl and have seen her overcome so much. She’s a strong little lady.’
‘Now it’s time to adjust and enjoy life as a family of three and soak up every moment in our newborn bubble.’
Before adding, “Jordan, you have been my and Eva’s rock through all of this. There’s no way we could have done this without you. Juggling all of this while running a business is no joke and every day I am so proud of you. (A little lame, I know) Seeing how you’ve been with our daughter has made me love you even more.”
Fans and famous friends rushed to share their congratulations, with fellow MIC star Lucy Watson writing: ‘Oh my god. She’s a little fighter. I’m so glad you got to bring your girl home. congratulations both xxx
While Jazz Saunders added: ‘Eva is one tough cookie just like her mother who sends you so much love.’
