Microsoft’s Flight Simulator 2024 is coming to Xbox and PC later this year
Microsoft’s flight simulator 2024 coming to Xbox Series X|S, PC and Xbox Game Pass and Cloud day one on November 19, 2024.
During the Xbox Games Showcase 2024, Microsoft shared a brand new trailer for the next installment in its popular simulation franchise, showcasing some beautiful locations around the world, as well as a host of aircraft that the player will fly in when the game launches later this year . . Microsoft describes Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 as the “most ambitious consumer flight simulator ever undertaken” that is “designed to take advantage of the latest technologies in simulation, cloud, machine learning, graphics and gaming.”
“Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 goes beyond just flying the aircraft; it will enable simmers to pursue their dream of an aviation career,” said developer Asobo.
In the trailer we see a number of aircraft, including commercial aircraft, air ambulances and helicopters, as well as zeppelins. Asobo has confirmed that it is working on introducing a variety of new aircraft to the game, in addition to agricultural aviation and aerial firefighting.
Also announced during today’s showcase was Life is strange: double exposure, the next main game in the Life is Strange series. Releases October 29 on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and PC Double exposure sees the return of the first game’s main character, Max Caulfield, as she is drawn into another murder mystery.
Microsoft has also officially unveiled the new Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S models that leaked earlier this year.
