Microsoft Teams was down during the major CrowdStrike outage, but bad news: it appears to be working again
Due to a major outage affecting systems around the world, Microsoft Teams has been taken offline. But don’t worry, it’s back up and running.
The videoconferencing service was down for several hours due to the major global IT outage that affected Microsoft systems after a faulty security update for CrowdStrike.
The outage also affected several other Microsoft 365 services, with users across the globe appearing to be affected.
Microsoft Teams is back
The official Microsoft 365 Status Page no longer shows any problems, but Windows workstations worldwide were experiencing ‘blue screen of death’ errors.
The first reports of problems came from Australia, but also affected users in the US, UK and elsewhere.
