Okay, Bellevue, which is right next to Seattle and not far from Microsoft’s headquarters in Redmond, Washington, doesn’t seem too excited about today’s event. It’s been cold and rainy here since yesterday.

I’d like to ask ChatGPT why it rains so often in Seattle, but the popular chatbot is now overwhelmed and I won’t be able to access it until OpenAI gets bigger. Maybe that 10 billion dollars that Microsoft puts in will help.

In any case, we’re about two hours away from Microsoft’s big reveal. I’m going to Microsoft’s campus soon to register and search. Remember, there is no live stream, so this live blog is one of the few ways to learn what Microsoft plans to do with ChatGPT.

I wonder if Sam Altman, the brains behind OpenAI and ChatGPT knows how to keep secrets? Here’s his Twitter post that may have prompted Microsoft to let the cat out of the bag about the event a little early.

It wasn’t much, but with Microsoft’s CEO, Satya Nadella, and Altman in one place, and the latter naming not only his location, but also the event, Microsoft’s chance for a big surprise reveal was blown.

Oh well, CEOs do CEO things, and we just sit back and watch.
