The Wrestler star slammed the Top Gun star during an appearance on Piers Morgan Uncensored, saying, “the guy’s been doing the same damn thing for 35 years.” I have no respect for that.
His words came after Piers, 57, asked Mickey how he felt about Cruise’s latest film topping the box office charts with Top Gun: Maverick.
He said: ‘That don’t mean shit to me. I don’t care about money and power, I care when I see Al Pacino work and the early work of Chris Walken and De Niro and the work of Richard Harris and the work of Ray Winstone.
That’s the kind of actor I want to be. Monty Clift and Brando in the past.
Piers pressed him further, asking, ‘Don’t you think Tom Cruise is a good actor?’

He praised the actors starring in the long-running crime drama, naming Mariska Hargitay, Christopher Meloni, Stephanie March, BD Wong and Ice T.
Mickey said, “I respect all of you, the job you do is acting for real, not like that shit that all over at Marvel s***.”
