Mick Molloy has taken a swipe at rival radio presenters Kyle Sandilands and Jackie ‘O’ Henderson after they mocked him for dining alone.
The 57-year-old Triple M radio presenter told listeners during his breakfast program Mick & MG In The Morning that KIIS FM presenters called him ‘lonely’ and ‘a tragic figure’.
Mick admits he is often seen alone in Sydney, whether in restaurants or going to the cinema, but Mick said he was ‘shocked’ by the reactions.
“I’m honestly hurt that they’re calling me names like that,” he told his co-host Mark “MG” Geyer and Cat Lynch.
The radio station played Jackie describing her encounter with Mick and Kyle, and how she saw him “sitting at a table by himself” at a restaurant.

‘Did you say, “Hello, Mick!”?’ Kyle asked, to which Jackie replied, “No.” He had his head down…’
“Unbelievable,” Mick said after listening to the audio, before making a few jokes at the blonde radio queen.
‘Yes, I was alone! Jackie Oh, she walked by. She’s been stalking me for years.”
“I wouldn’t mind her diet tips.” They can come in handy,” he added, referring to Jackie’s recent weight loss. “I guarantee she would have been mentally undressing me… Which takes a while, by the way.”

In 2020, Mick revealed he is single and was quietly hoping a woman would slide into his DMs.
The former Channel Nine star, who is proud dad to twin boys Fred and Lenny, 11, claimed he ‘didn’t quite give up’ on finding the one. not there at all, I’m on Insta.’
When asked if he has ever tried dating apps, he added: ‘You can’t do it because it makes you look like an idiot. It makes no sense, but that’s the way it is nowadays.’
The comic cheekily added, “You can’t even get sh*g at work.
‘There is a ban on sex, but I estimate that 80 percent of the people I know have found their partner or someone else at work.’

He added: “I’ve been really lucky in my life to have had some great, important relationships, but now is not the right time, and I’m comfortable with that.”
Throughout his life, Mick enjoyed a number of romances.
He dated actress Sophie Lee for about six years in the early 1990s.
In 2012, Mick welcomed his twins with partner Angie, but kept her identity private as she was away from the media. It is not known exactly how and when they broke up.
In March 2017, Mick started dating Real Housewives Of Melbourne star Susie McLean, but the pair’s romance ended in September the same year.
She previously raved about their relationship, telling The Herald Sun at the time that he was “the most brilliant man” she had ever met.
