Moves Like Jagger! Sir Mick, 80, proves he has still got it as he flaunts his iconic moves to the Maroon 5 hit at a Caribbean festival

Sir Mick Jagger proved he’s still the king of the dancefloor as he showed off his iconic dance moves at the Mustique Blues Festival in the Caribbean.

Sharing a clip to Instagram on Wednesday, the Rolling stones frontman, 80, left his fans stunned with his enthusiastic dancing.

As a blues band, Maroon 5’s hit Moves Like Jagger, written about the rocker’s legendary moves, got the audience off their seats.

Mick was seen waving at the phone before grabbing his crotch and wiggling his leg in the air before falling to the ground.

Wearing a blue and white patterned shirt and black trousers, Mick struggled to contain his excitement as the tune blared from the beach speakers.

Mick jumped up from his table, shouted in excitement and waved his hands in the air as he stepped aside from the crowd on the dance floor.

Appearing in good spirits and proving that age is just a number, the singing sensation smiled as he put his past outburst behind him.

Nodding to his legendary status as an ’80s dancing heartthrob, Mick captioned his post: ‘Moves like who! …Music from Splash’

Following his post, fans from all over the world rushed to his comments to share their admiration.

Mick has been a fan of the song since its release in 2011. He previously told the BBC that the song was ‘very flattering’ and ‘hilarious’.

He also told The Sun: ‘I wish I’d written it. But wouldn’t that be strange? It doesn’t really sound like a Maroon 5 song, so they’re probably as surprised by its success as I am. It’s very catchy. It is funny. The only thing is, it puts pressure on me when I go dancing!’

Mick’s appearance comes after a few weeks of traveling around the world with his loved ones.

He has wowed his fans in recent months as he shared photos from his travels through Italy, India, the Caribbean and Germany.

Mick has been traveling around the islands for weeks as earlier this month he shared a gallery of Instagram photos with fans from his trip to the Grenadines.

Mick cut a casual figure in a gray T-shirt and white shorts as he explored the ‘Island Of The Clouds’ in Arawak.

He kept his look practical with a pair of black Nike sneakers and a cream cap as he posed outside a tropical drink and an abandoned house.

The rocking icon paired his casual look with a lilac zip-up jacket and black sunglasses.

He captioned the post: ‘Exploring a small island in the Grenadines called Bequia, which means ‘Island of the Clouds’ in Arawak’.

In another snap, the musician posed confidently on the side of a street walk, which was covered in art graffiti.

Mick appeared in good spirits as he basked in the sun while exploring the exotic island.

The Grenadines are a chain of small islands that lie on the line between the larger islands of Saint Vincent and Grenada in the Lesser Antilles.

They are known for yacht-filled harbors and sailing spots, such as the reef-lined island of Bequia, with the secluded Princess Margaret Beach and the Old Hegg Turtle Sanctuary.
