Michigan fan who promised to eat dog poo if they lost to Washington refuses to do it after shock defeat

A Michigan Wolverines fan is refusing to eat dog poop after vowing he would if they lost to Washington.

X-user @AJ71827 vowed to make the disgusting forfeit if the reigning national champions lost to the unranked Huskies on Saturday.

After daring to do it earlier this week, they posted on X: “If Michigan loses to Washington, I’ll eat dog poop out of a red solo cup.”

Their worst fears came true when Washington defeated No. 10 Michigan 27-17 in Seattle in a rematch of last season’s College Football Playoff championship game.

It led to many excited fans flooding @AJ71827’s comments, demanding that they carry out the disgusting act.

But they were left disappointed when the previously confident @AJ71827 refused to make the forfeit.

They wrote: ‘You all think you’re going to catch me while I’m busy laughing.

“Some of you really need a life, this is worrying…I’m not eating the dog poop, get over it. Michigan is not cursed.”

Fans were furious that they had not kept their promise and reacted accordingly.

One responded to X: ‘Not a man of your word?’

Another said: ‘Michigan man with no integrity, shocking.’

‘Be a man of your word. Don’t be gentle,” said a third.

The Huskies scored the final 13 points of the game, avenging a 34-13 loss in the national title game

It’s eerily similar to last season, when a Florida Seminoles fan promised to eat dog feces if they lost to Boston College.

They did so, but the fan immediately deleted all his social media accounts so he wouldn’t have to perform the act.

Even ESPN’s Monday Night Football host Scott Van Pelt mentioned it on air.

“You think you can just delete your account, the internet won’t forget that, buddy,” he said.

“You can’t just keep it moving and get a new name or something. People will find you. That’s how it works.’
