Two of the stars of the film Everything Everywhere All At Once caused a sensation at the 34th Annual Palm Springs International Film Festival, held at the Palm Springs Convention Center.
michelle yeoh and Stephanie Hsu, who played his daughter in the absurdist comedy-drama, stood side by side for a series of snapshots before the ceremony honoring some of cinema’s greatest.
Later in the evening, Yeoh was presented with the International Star Award in recognition of his acclaimed performance in Everything Everywhere All At Once.

During the night of celebration, the two actresses posed together in their respective outfits as photographers snapped.
Yeoh (born Michelle Yeoh Choo Kheng), 60, showed off her youthful side decked out in a light blue skirt that was designed to look rolled up.
The unique skirt was teamed with an orange and black patterned top, black leggings, and matching boots.
Completing her overall look, the Malaysian actress had her long, raven locks pulled back from her face without a part and in a ponytail.

She finished her ensemble with her long dark locks braided and pulled to her shoulders.
Hsu also had the privilege of saying a few kind words about Yeoh before calling her up on stage to receive her award.
“Michelle Yeoh is everything in the thrilling film Everything Everywhere All at Once. In one of the most memorable roles of her career, Yeoh plays Evelyn Wang, a Chinese-American woman who is recruited to save the multiverse,’ Festival President Harold Matzner said in a declaration. “For this film which is a fantastic showcase for Michelle Yeoh, we are honored to award her the International Star Award, Actress.”

Previous winners of the International Star Award include actresses Nicole Kidman, Helen Mirren, Saoirse Ronan, Charlize Theron and last year’s winner Penelope Cruz, according to the Palm Springs Film Festival website.
Along with Yeoh, some of the other actors and filmmakers receiving honors at this year’s festival included Cate Blanchett (Desert Palm Achievement Award, Actress), Colin Farrell (Desert Palm Achievement Award, The Banshees Of Inisherin), Sarah Polley (Director of the Year Award, Women Talking), Austin Butler (Breakthrough Performance Award, Elvis) and Viola Davis (President’s Award, The King Woman).
Yeoh is an internationally recognized Malaysian-born actress who rose to fame in Hong Kong action films of the 1990s.
Since then, he has starred in a series of box office hits and acclaimed films, including Everything Everywhere All At Once (2022), which became a smash hit grossing $103.4 million on a $25 million budget.
