Buffy star Michelle Trachtenberg, 38, hits back at ‘haters’ over cruel comments about her ‘thinning hair’ and ‘yellow eyes’
Michelle Trachtenberg spent the past week on Instagram shutting down “haters” who expressed concerns about her health and appearance.
The 38-year-old former child star – who has 1.1 million followers on Instagram/Twitter – wrote last Friday: ‘Fun fact. This is my face. No malnutrition, no problems. Why do you hate (too)? Buy a calendar.’
It all seemed to have started last Wednesday when Michelle shared a photo of herself about to get her hair done at Tracey Cunningham’s Mèche salon in Beverly Hills.
Instagram user @cathy_critz asked, “Michelle (you) looks sick. (Is everything all right?’
Trachtenberg replied: ‘@cathy_critz, explain to me how sick I look. Have you lost a calendar and don’t realize I’m not 14? I’m 38. What a pity that you leave such a comment.’

Michelle uploaded two more selfies she took on Wednesday and once again fans made it clear that they are not concerned about plastic surgery or malnutrition, but rather her “thinning hair and yellow eyes.”
‘No one talks about plastic surgery. They are talking about shutting down your liver,” wrote Instagram user @efm850916.
Instagram user @heather_mcgillick agreed: “I honestly don’t think anyone was suggesting you had plastic surgery. We are generally concerned about you. Your eyes are yellow, your hair is (thinning) and you look sick.”
“People are just worried that your eyes are yellow and all your hair is falling out,” wrote Instagram user @go.lden7541.
“I think they’re worried about your health.”
Instagram user @samj_82_ added: ‘Anyone with yellow eyeballs is unwell and needs to see a doctor.’
