Fast X serves as the successor to F9, which debuted earlier in 2021.

In the upcoming movie, Toretto and his family will defend themselves against attacks by Dante Reyes, played by Jason Momoa, whose family fortune was lost in 2011’s Fast Five.

Longtime cast members such as Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris and Jason Statham will reprise their roles in the upcoming movie.

Relative newcomers to the franchise, including Charlize Theron and John Cena, are all expected to appear in the film.

Several artists, including Melchior, Brie Larson and Rita Moreno, will also be making their first franchise appearances in Fast X.

Meadow Walker, whose late father Paul ran the series with Vin until his death in 2013, will make a cameo.

Fast X was originally going to be directed by Justin Lin, who previously helmed some of the most popular Fast & Furious, though he left the project early to start filming.
