Former First Lady Michelle Obama insulted her husband Barack while discussing her family’s plans for the holidays.
The 60-year-old will appear on The Jennifer Hudson Show on Tuesday for an exclusive interview, a preview of which shows Michelle demoting her husband as “cheap.”
She said Barack is the hardest person in the family to shop for. according to Hola Magazine.
“I mean, he just doesn’t do much,” Michelle told Jennifer Hudson. “He plays golf and there’s only so many golf clubs you can give to a guy.
‘I already have the clubs, I can’t get him another golf shirt. He is very harsh and doesn’t want anything,” Michelle said, noting that a nice letter to the former president would suffice.
“I try to buy him clothes that he wouldn’t buy because they’re cheap too,” she said.

She told how she once tried to give her husband, former President Barack Obama, a nice jacket as a gift – prompting him to ask how much she spent on it
Michelle then told how she once tried to buy a nice coat for her husband and tried to hide the price – which only prompted the 44th President of the United States to ask, “Why did you spend so much on a coat?”
“I thought, ‘That’s what a gift is.'”
She then claimed that despite her problems buying gifts for her husband, she is the best gift giver in the family because she “actually pays attention to everyone” and listens.
“I’m the one who organizes all the gift giving,” Michelle said. “I’m making sure all the kids we know are covered, I have my list.”
“I’m the one who makes Christmas possible.”
The family is spending Christmas in Hawaii, she noted, saying her husband’s home state is one of the reasons she fell in love with him.
“You know my husband grew up in Hawaii – one of the reasons I married him,” Michelle told Jennifer Hudson.
‘…I thought, “Okay, is this where Christmas is going to be?”
Michelle Obama also noted that the family goes to Hawaii every year for Christmas since her daughters, Malia, 26, and Sasha, 23, were young.
“We celebrate Thanksgiving with my family, but at Christmas, since the girls were little, we go to Hawaii,” Michelle said of her daughters Malia, 26, and Sasha, 23.
“His family is there and now it’s his sister, my nieces and a bunch of friends who have been coming to see us for years. We go to the island for a little sun.
“That’s why you have to choose your husband well,” the former first lady joked.
“He became a lot nicer when I found out he was from Hawaii, I was like, ‘Oh okay.’
