This came after Michelle was left completely upset after her Brassic colleague flashed his bare chest behind her live on TV during the National Television Awards last week.
The actress, who was up for three awards at the ceremony, was left red-faced when her co-star Ryan Sampson, 38, flashed a nipple to the camera as the nominations were read out.
Michelle beamed for the camera as her name was called at the O2 Arena when Ryan, who plays Tommo in Brassic, showed her face. The actress turned around and laughed at his cheeky antics.
Michelle was nominated for the Drama Performance Award for her role in the record-breaking Netflix series Fool Me Once.
However, Toby Jones took home the award for his role as Sir Alan Bates in Mr Bates vs the Post Office.
In Brassic, the actress plays the role of Erin Croft, a temperamental woman who had a wild childhood and is the ex-girlfriend of Dylan (Damien Molony) and the mother of Tyler (Jude Riordan).
Ryan’s character, Tommo, is a free-spirited loner and an odd one out among the core characters.
Netflix’s adaptation of Harlan Coben’s mystery novel Fool Me Once was also nominated for the New Drama category, but again missed out on the Mr Bates vs The Post Office category.
