Michelle Keegan looked stunning as she opted for wavy hair and a leather biker jacket to film her latest scenes of Sky comedy Brassic.

The former Coronation Street actress, 36, opted for a very trendy look as she transformed into single mum Erin Croft for the series.

Erin looked ready to party as she held a bottle of champagne before touching up her glamorous red lipstick to head to the party.

Michelle teased what would come in season six of the show, which will be released next year.

She wore a striped miniskirt and a high olive turtleneck for the fashionable look, and added gold earrings to complete the look.

She kept her makeup natural and opted for a half up, half down hairstyle, leaving her locks loose and wavy.

Erin had clearly been shopping in preparation for the meeting, as the character will cause trouble in the upcoming season.

Elsewhere, Michelle also hinted that Erin will get into trouble with a petrol can – which she and Carol (Bronagh Gallagher) will use to refill an elderly couple’s car.

The series follows Vinnie O’Neill (Joseph Gilgun) and his five friends, including Michelle’s single mother Erin.

The comedy follows the group as they struggle to make ends meet in the fictional town of Hawley, often resorting to petty crime for money.

When Dylan’s girlfriend Erin (Michelle) wants to make a fresh start in a new city, Dylan (Damien Molony) is torn between following her or staying with the friends he considers brothers.

The BAFTA-nominated series began in 2019, when season four of the show was released on Sky Max and Now TV last August.

It comes after Brassic star Neil Ashton revealed he asked co-star Michelle to invite her husband Mark Wright to the comedy show.

In an interview with The mirrorNeil said he’s going to ask Michelle to get Mark involved in a cameo, but he’s worried he’s “too handsome.”

He said: ‘Michelle is one of the sweetest people. And Mark too, they’re so good together, those two. They really have wonderful chemistry.

‘I’ve known Michelle for a long time, so when you hear about someone you always hope they’ll be nice. Did he ever have a cameo? I don’t know, I’ll message Michelle and ask her. But he’s too handsome, way too handsome.’

Neil went on to say, “I feel very blessed to be on the show. It contains real slapstick comedy, but also very nice storylines. And we have so much fun while filming. There are a lot of body cases, we are all guilty of it.

‘I have often had moments where my shoulders started to shake during filming. Every year we have a wrap party with a blooper reel, which is always hilarious.’

Michelle and Mark have been married since 2015.

Brassic will reportedly be axed after the next series as the cast look to leave the Sky comedy to work on other projects.

The show just released its fifth season, with a special in December.

But a new report has revealed that the show is ‘unlikely’ to return after next year as producers work on a sixth and final installment.

A Sky insider told The Mirror: ‘It is highly unlikely that Brassic will return after the sixth series next year. It has had incredible success, but the feeling among some of the cast is that it is time to move on.

‘Ryan considered leaving after series five but was persuaded to continue by Sky bosses. Michelle also finds it harder to organize her schedule around filming because she is in high demand for so many projects.”

However, a Sky spokesperson has denied that the show will end after series six, telling MailOnline: ‘Brassic has not been cancelled. The show remains one of Sky’s best-performing original comedies. With a very successful launch of series five last week, it is a firm favorite with our customers.

‘A growing number of them continue to discover this award-winning series on-demand as it airs on Sky Max on Thursdays at 10pm.’
