Michelle Keegan cuts an edgy figure as she films comedy scenes for season five of Brassic

Michelle Keegan cut a tense figure as she filmed comedic scenes for the fifth season of the hit Sky Max series Brassic on Monday in central Manchester.

The 35-year-old actress looked effortlessly chic in green patterned cargo pants and a black zip-up top as she filmed the nighttime scenes alongside Lee Mack and Joe Gilgun.

She completed her look with a pair of chunky black lace-up boots that embodied her character, single mom Erin Croft.

Michelle accentuated her good looks with a light coat of natural make-up and styled her dark brown locks in voluminous curls tied with a gold bow tie.

She was joined by her co-star Joe, 38, who kept it casual in beige trousers, which he paired with a button-up cargo vest and brown overcoat.

Joe, who stars as Vinnie O’Neil, was also wearing oversized metal glasses when he was seen shooting with Michelle.

Lee Mack, who is joining the show for the fifth time, was seen making faces as he tried to climb over a metal fence before getting stuck and getting caught on it with his pants.

The rest of the cast ran out of a pub to try to find Lee as he hung from the iron railing in the comedic moment.

Comedy-drama Brassic follows Vinnie O’Neill and his five friends, including Michelle’s single mother character Erin.

The group struggles to make ends meet in the fictional town of Hawley, often resorting to petty crime for money.

The BAFTA-nominated series began in 2019, when season four of the show was released on Sky Max and Now TV earlier this month.

In October last year, Michelle admitted that she had banned her family from watching one episode of the show because of a raunchy sex scene, she told Radio Times.

“I didn’t let my family watch that first episode for 15 minutes, and we all know why!” she said with a laugh.

And Michelle has certainly been kept busy with her acting portfolio as she’s set to star as a young nurse named Kate in the six-part BBC drama Ten Pound Poms.

She has returned to the UK after four months of filming for the show in Australia, which follows a group of Britons who leave gloomy post-war Britain in 1956 to embark on a life-changing adventure on the other side of the world.

But while her soap opera fame has led to her becoming a household name, the actress admitted she’s not quite used to it yet, she said. the guard.

“Even now, 15 years later, you never get used to being famous,” she said. “One minute I was walking out the gates of Coronation Street and no one knew who I was.

“Then, as soon as my first scenes hit the screen, I remember walking out the gate and being stopped and asked for an autograph. I had no idea how to sign.’
