Michelle Keegan and husband Mark Wright told their family about their joyful baby news weeks ago, before announcing it to the world on Sunday.
The actress, 37, kept her pregnancy on the down-low before sharing her surprise pregnancy in a heartwarming post.
But Michelle and Mark started telling their loved ones in the fall and decided to keep the secret as long as possible The sun.
A friend told the publication: ‘They kept their pregnancy quiet for a long time because they wanted to enjoy every second of it.
‘Starting a family is something they have wanted to do for a long time. They are both in a great place in their careers and their family home in Essex is all complete. The timing couldn’t have been more perfect.”

She said:I love spending an evening on the couch with our dogs, watching TV and relaxing, but we still love getting dressed up and going out to eat.”
Now in her breeding season, Michelle also said she and Mark had become ‘boring’, adding: ‘We used to go out for dinner and drinks until the early hours.
‘But now, after dinner, I look at my watch and say, “It’s 9:30 p.m., we better get home for bedtime.” It’s a bit more boring now.’

Pregnant Michelle previously revealed her ‘frustration’ at the constant questions she received about her baby plans.
The star has said in the past that she was upset by the endless speculation about the couple’s plans during their nine-year marriage.
