Michelle Dockery marries Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s brother Jasper in London – seven years after her fiancé John Dineen tragically died of cancer aged just 34
Beaming with happiness, Michelle Dockery married her boyfriend Jasper Waller-Bridge today, surrounded by her Downton Abbey co-stars.
The actress, who played Lady Mary Crawley in the ITV period drama, couldn’t stop smiling as she left a church in London, holding hands with Waller-Bridge, the younger brother of Fleabag creator Phoebe Waller-Bridge.
Mrs Dockery, 41, dressed in a demure white satin dress, chatted with guests including Lily James, Joanne Froggatt and Laura Carmichael at midday after the 45-minute service at St Nicholas’ Church in Chiswick, west London.
She and Mr Waller-Bridge, 35, a former talent agent for the likes of Holly Willoughby, Amanda Holden and Ant and Dec, were joined by the groom’s sister Phoebe – who had a giant diamond ring on her engagement finger – and her partner Martin. McDonagh.
Dressed in a stunning coral three-piece suit, Mrs Waller-Bridge led the guests on a walk from the nearby George and Devonshire pub where they had gathered for pre-wedding drinks.

Ms Dockery was believed to be friends with her new husband’s older sister, and the two stars crossed paths when they both spent time in Los Angeles over the summer.
In January 2022, she and Mr Waller-Bridge announced they were getting married in an announcement in The Times newspaper.
