A Michelin-starred chef has reportedly flown from Britain to Sydney to cook for Taylor Swift and her team as the star continues her sold-out Eras Tour.
According to Yahoo lifestylechef Clare Smyth made the 21-hour trip in case Swift felt like dining at her fine dining restaurant Oncore by Clare Smyth – located at the Crown Sydney, where Swift is staying.
Swift, 34, has reportedly rented out the Crown presidential penthouse, which typically costs AUD$25,000 per night, and on Thursday her boyfriend Travis Kelce arrived in Sydney to join her.
Speaking to Yahoo Lifestyle, an insider said that Crown was so excited about the public interest in Swift’s stay that they were eager to turn her into a fairytale.
‘They have spared no expense, increasing security and having the staff sign a non-disclosure agreement to ensure her stay is nothing but perfection.’

The source claimed that Irish-born Smyth had planned to travel from Britain to Australia before Swift had even booked her stay at the Crown, in case Swift decided to visit her restaurant while in Sydney.

The prices are eye-watering $330 for seven courses, plus $190 per person for wine pairings.

Clare confirmed she had arrived in Australia on Wednesday afternoon, sharing an Instagram story saying she had ‘rejoined the team’.
She also hinted that Taylor might book into her restaurant by sharing a photo of chef Alan Stuart preparing the food while wearing friendship bracelets.
“@alan.stuart is getting excited about @taylorswift’s concert!” she captioned the photo while also using Taylor’s song “Style” in the background.
Notably, Clare Smyth is the first and only female chef to run a three-Michelin-star restaurant thanks to her restaurant Core in London.
She previously worked under Gordon Ramsey for 13 years and was appointed Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in 2013 for services to the hospitality industry.
Clare is a personal favorite of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and even hosted the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s wedding reception in 2018.
She has also made numerous appearances on MasterChef Australia in recent years, so there is a chance she will appear in the upcoming sixteenth season of the reality show which is currently filming in Melbourne.
