- He took the win in gruesome fashion, with the referee having to stop him
- After the fight, the Netherlands celebrated with former President Donald Trump
Kevin Holland earned an extremely gruesome submission victory over Michal Oleksiejczuk on Saturday night, injuring his opponent’s arm at UFC 302 in New Jersey before celebrating with former US President Donald Trump.
Holland, a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt, used his experience to branch out and eventually graduate to an arm bar.
And as the American shouted at his opponent – seemingly warning him of a possible broken arm – Oleksiejczuk refused to surrender and referee Herb Dean had to intervene.
Oleksiejczuk’s arm looked on the verge of breaking after a brutal pull by Holland, who had to reposition several times.
Incredibly, he initially complained about Dean’s interruption, but ultimately seemed to respect it in the end.

Officials immediately checked the Pole’s arm as the Netherlands celebrated its victory.
Surprisingly, the first person Holland went to celebrate his victory with was not someone from his team, but Trump at ringside.
The two shook hands and exchanged a few words before Holland also shook hands with UFC president Dana White.
After the fight, Holland said, “When I first put him in the armbar, I heard the pop and then it didn’t pop anymore and I was like, I need to take a complete break.
‘That man is as tough as nails, he hit me with a good shot. … I didn’t get hurt at all, he just hit me with a good shot and I moved at the same time.
“I’m 6 feet tall, but my arms are long like I’m 6 feet tall, so sometimes I’m a little clumsy. So I fall over, they get on top and get dunked. It is good for me.’
He also revealed that he apologized to Trump when he spoke to the former president.
Holland said, “I just apologized because the first time I jumped out of the cage when he was there, I didn’t talk to him. No disrespect to anyone, the person who signs my checks is usually the first person I talk to and Dana and Hunter sign my checks.”
Netherlands’ brutal victory also caught the attention of the MMA world on social media.
