Michael Jackson’s son Blanket, 22, makes rare sighting with brother Prince, 27, at Tito Jackson memorial

Michael Jackson’s son, Deken (aka Bigi) made a rare appearance while attending a memorial service for his late uncle, Tito Jackson, held Tuesday at the Jackson family home in Encino.

Nearly two months earlier, on September 15, Tito – the founding member of the Jackson 5 – died at the age of 70 after a fatal heart attack.

A funeral for Tito took place at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Glendale on Monday – with Michael’s other children, including Paris, 26, also paying their respects.

Bigi was seen at the service wearing a black suit, white shirt and black tie.

His older brother, Prince Jackson, 27, was also in attendance, wearing a dark gray suit and black shirt.

Michael Jackson’s son, Deken, 22, (aka Bigi) made a rare appearance while attending a memorial service for his late uncle, Tito Jackson, held Tuesday at the Jackson family home in Encino.

Jermaine Jackson paid his respects to his late brother at the memorial on Tuesday and was spotted outside the Encino family home, also wearing a classic black suit and tie.

He joined other guests as he was led to the main entrance before the service.

Actress Kym Whitley was later seen arriving at the memorial wearing a black and white patterned blazer and matching trousers.

She also wore a black satin top underneath and put on a pair of black closed-toed shoes.

Upon arriving at the home, attendees apparently checked in at a security table before being led to an area in the backyard.

A large tent with a see-through roof was set up behind the house, with several round tables and chairs underneath for the guests.

Prince and Paris are the children of the late Michael Jackson and his ex-wife, Debbie Rowe.

Bigi – who largely remains out of the public eye – was born via surrogate mother in 2002, but the identity of his mother is unknown.

Others who attended the funeral earlier this week included La Toya Jackson, Marlon Jackson, as well as Jafaar and Jermajesty Jackson.

Jafaar – Jermaine Jackson’s son – will notably play his late uncle in the upcoming biopic titled Michael.

The film – directed by Antoine Fuqua – will be released in theaters next year, in October 2025.

Kimora Lee Simmons also attended the meeting to pay her respects to Tito following his death in September.

On her Instagram Stories following Tito’s death, Paris shared a throwback photo of him and her late father — who died in June 2009 — and wrote, “Rest in transition, Uncle Tito.”

Meanwhile, her older brother Prince shared a family photo on social media showing several members of the famous family surrounding matriarch Katherine.

In the caption of the image, he wrote to his followers: “I love you forever, Poppa T.”

A sign at the front of the main entrance informed attendees, “No photography, no use of cell phones.”

Tito’s son TJ noted, “He always spoke so highly [of] You, Prince, and I were so proud of the man you have become and your love for your family. Thank you for being such a second cousin to him.”

Tito Jackson told his friend Terry Harvey Maltbia that he “couldn’t breathe” and “wasn’t feeling well” moments before he was rushed to a hospital in New Mexico, where he later died of a heart attack.

Maltbia, who is also Jackson’s business partner, told DailyMail.com that he and the singer were in Gallup, New Mexico and stopped for dinner before hitting the road again and heading to Jackson’s ranch in Oklahoma.

Maltbia, Jackson and another friend, Ronald Balfour, were on a road trip to California, where the trio planned to pick up Jackson’s vintage cars from his house.

“We just finished eating turkey and chicken, laughing and talking,” Maltbia said. “We were putting the top on the convertible because it started to rain.”

‘Then Tito came back to the passenger window and said, ‘My chest hurts. Can you help Ronnie finish the top?”

“He said, ‘I don’t feel good in my chest.’ He wiped his face, took off his shirt and it was as if someone had thrown a bucket of water on him.”

Tito was taken to hospital and Maltbia recalled: “They took me there and I looked at him.”
