Michael Jackson’s daughter Paris takes the stage at BottleRock Napa Valley festival

The BottleRock Napa Valley music festival in 2023 is underway this holiday weekend at the Napa Valley Expo in Napa Valley, California.

After keeping their skills sharp and refined with a show in San Francisco on Friday, Paris Jackson and her band made their way to the three-day event on Saturday.

Tasked with kicking off day two on the Jam Cellers Stage in the afternoon, Jackson proudly delivered her brand of pop rock.

Showing off her unique sense of style, Michael Jackson’s 25-year-old daughter teased her midriff in a cropped white T-shirt and flared maroon plaid pants.

The sleeveless design of her shirt allowed her to show off the growing array of tattoos running up and down her arms and shoulders.

The Beverly Hills native would match her vintage-looking ensemble with a pair of brown suede boots.

Her brown and blonde locks were styled long and wavy as she swung her head around during the performance.

Sometimes she tried to grab hold of the growing audience by patrolling the stage with only the microphone in hand.

And then there were tunes where she sang and played guitar at the same time.

After playing their 45-minute set as the opener, Jackson returned for a second performance at the Jam Cellers Jampad in the late afternoon for a short 20-minute jam.

Headlining artists for day two included Duran Duran, Lizzo and Nile Rodgers & Chic, with other performances throughout the day by the likes of Meute, Carley Rae Jaspen, Leon Bridges, Tove Lo, Cautious Clay, Lupe Fiasco, Dogstar, with Keanu Reeves, Three Sacred Souls, Jax, Dayglow and Japanese Breakfast, among many others.

The last day of the festival, on Sunday, will feature headliners Red Hot Chili Peppers and Lil Nas X, as well as Wu-Tang Clan, The National, Sheryl Crowe and Los Lobos, to name a few.

Jackson came on the show after releasing her new single, Bandaid, which took advantage of the soft-hard dynamic between the verses and choruses, which is a stylized songwriting tool featuring some of the alternative rock bands of yesteryear, such as Nirvana.

Her previous single, Just You, which was released in 2022, is another catchy sing-along, mid-tempo rock romper.

Jackson last released a batch of new songs with The Lost EP, which is just that, an extended play that came out in February 2022 via Republic Records.

The musician and actress is currently on tour with scattered shows during the months of May through July, according to her website.

Just a few years ago, the musician released music as part of the musical duo The Soundflowers, along with Gabriel Glenn.

With a stripped down acoustic sound, including Jackson on vocals and a ukulele and Glenn on guitar and vocals, The Soundflowers released their first self-titled EP in June 2020.
