REVEALED: Indian broadcaster enlists THREE former Australian stars to replace Michael Clarke after former captain lost $150,000 gig as commentator after shocking Noosa park fight

Michael Clarke’s commentary replacements have been revealed with reports suggesting that the BCCI have called up three former Australian cricketers to replace the eliminated star.

The Indian broadcaster decided not to call up Clarke for Australia’s upcoming tour of the subcontinent, after he was embroiled in a shocking fight in a Noosa park involving breakfast TV host Karl Stefanovic.

As a result, the former Australia captain missed out on a lucrative $150,000 contract to call the series with the notoriously image-conscious BCCI, concerned about the optics of having the 41-year-old as part of its cover.

And according to The Sydney Morning Herald, no fewer than three former Australian stars will replace Clarke during the four Test series, which begins on February 9.

Mark Waugh is expected to partner Matthew Hayden for the first two tests in Nagpur and Delhi.

Mitchell Johnson will then take Waugh’s place for Tests three and four, with the fast bowler missing the 2013 tour after a falling out with Clarke.

Three one-day internationals follow the Test series and Johnson is expected to be part of the coverage alongside recently retired over-50 captain Aaron Finch.

More established commentators like Ricky Ponting, Michael Hussey and Brad Haddin were unable to replace Clarke as they are involved in coaching roles with IPL teams.

Despite the punishing blow of missing the BCCI concert, Clarke says she’s already received an offer to commentate on another competition.

“I’ve just been asked to comment on the PSL, the Pakistan Premier League, and you should watch the internationals they have,” Clarke said on his The Big Sports Breakfast radio show while making a big marketing pitch for the league.

“A lot of foreign players go and play in that tournament.”

Clarke made no mention of his India gig on his radio show, a big indication that he is aware that the now-infamous fight has cost him a highly lucrative gig with the most powerful cricket staff on the planet.

Footage of the fight showed his girlfriend, Jade Yarbrough, yelling at Clarke, slapping him and accusing him of allegedly cheating on her with his former partner, high-profile fashion designer Pip Edwards.

Do you want to send her to India with you? Yarbrough yells in the video.

‘You are the love of my life Pip, come with me to India.’

Clarke insisted she was innocent in the footage and swore on the life of her daughter Kelsey before lashing out at Stefanovic with a flurry of profanity.

According to the Sydney Morning Herald, Clarke’s potential endorsement deal with a skincare brand has already been terminated, with more to follow in the wake of the scandal.

The notorious playboy has since apologized for his role in the Noosa altercation, telling the Daily Telegraph that he accepted full responsibility for the incident and that he was torn apart by his actions.

“I am absolutely devastated. I have held people I hold in the highest regard in this position,” he said, not admitting to cheating but apologizing for his role in the fight.

“My actions in the lead up to this altercation were nothing short of shameful and regrettable. I own this completely and am solely to blame.
