Michael Clarke will address his feud with Karl Stefanovic live on radio

Michael Clarke finds himself embroiled in a cheating scandal after brutal images of the former Test captain being slapped by his girlfriend Jade Yarbrough surfaced.

Despite allegations that he cheated on Yarbrough, 30, with his ex Pip Edwards, leading him to verbally abuse Karl Stefanovic, Clarke, 41, will keep his radio job.

The cricketing great will retain his role on Sydney’s breakfast radio and is set to tackle the controversy on air when he returns to the studio on Monday.

Clarke remains on pre-planned annual leave from her role at Sky Sports Breakfast and the station’s breakfast team will not return until early next week.

A TabCorp spokesperson has since told AAP that the matter was considered a private matter and Clarke was expected to return to the air as scheduled.

Clarke, a veteran of 115 Tests for Australia, has held his position at Big Sports Breakfast since he first teamed up with Canberra NRL legend Laurie Daley in 2020.

The run-scoring prodigious has also been in the commentary as part of the ICC broadcast team for world cricket tournaments, but has no other major media position in Australia.

Despite allegations that she cheated on Yarbrough with her ex Pip Edwards, 42 (right), leading him to verbally abuse Karl Stefanovic, Clarke will keep her radio job.

Clarke has since apologized for his role in the Noosa riot, telling the Daily Telegraph that he accepted full responsibility for the incident and was torn apart by his actions.

“I am absolutely devastated, I have put people I hold in the highest regard in this role,” he said.

“My actions in the lead up to this altercation were nothing short of shameful and regrettable. I own this completely and am solely to blame.

Stefanovic appeared in his usual role as co-host of Channel Nine’s Today Show on Thursday morning, but did not address the issue.

It is understood that Clarke hopes to win back Yarbrough’s heart despite his now infamous public raid on Noosa.

A close friend of the retired cricket star said the ‘heartbroken’ Clarke is already talking about winning Yarbrough back despite admitting he cheated on her with her ex Edwards.

The revelation comes a day after stunning images surfaced of Clarke along with Yarbrough, her sister Jasmine and her husband Stefanovic, involved in an ugly dispute in a Noosa park on January 10.

At the center of the dispute were allegations that Clarke hooked up with ex-boyfriend Edwards on December 17 while Yarbrough was on vacation.

But incredibly, Clarke is reportedly determined to reconcile with Yarbrough and is planning a “grand gesture” in hopes of winning her back.

“He filled up and he knows he filled up and he got busted, it’s as simple as that,” a friend of the Australian cricket legend told Daily Mail Australia.

But he wants Jade back. she’s the one. But he knows he’s going to take something big to make it happen.’

His friend added that Clarke is “in a dark place emotionally” and is in close contact with his “best friend” Anthony Bell, who was also involved in the Noosa riot.

‘He’s a mess… a complete mess,’ said the friend.

Both Clarke and Bell have been contacted for comment.

Dramatic footage obtained by The Daily Telegraph shows a shirtless Clarke being yelled at and slapped by his hysterical girlfriend as others in the group try to defuse the fight.

His friend added that Clarke is “in a dark place emotionally” and is in close contact with his “best friend” Anthony Bell (left), who was also involved in the Noosa riot.

‘I’m wrong? I’m fucking wrong! You are a fucking liar. Ican see everything. You called her,” Yarbrough yells.

Clarke and Yarbrough were friends for several years after Karl Stefanovic introduced them. They made their relationship official in August 2022.

Stefanovic is understood to have tried to bring the couple together romantically several years earlier, but Yarbrough began dating someone else: surfer and charity director Andrew Leece.

However, the couple split in early 2022 and Yarbrough casually dated Clarke before the couple cemented their new romance with a trip to Italy in July.
