And according to a source close to the group at the center of the scandal, both Michael Clarke and his girlfriend Jade Yarbrough, as well as Karl Stefanovic and his wife Jasmine, had no idea that a random bystander was filming their fight outside a Noosa restaurant. . January 10.

The Daily Telegraph obtained the footage and it was not until a week later that a reporter for the publication alerted Clarke to the video.

The now infamous footage shows Clarke and Yarbrough, as well as Stefanovic, facing off after a dinner at the Noosa Waterfront restaurant in Noosaville.

The fight was sparked by Yarbrough accusing Clarke of cheating with her ex Pip Edwards.

In the clip, a shirtless Clarke was yelled at and slapped by his irate girlfriend as others tried to defuse the fight.

Anthony Bell, whose $10 million Noosa home served as the group’s home base over the holidays, can also be seen calmly trying to de-escalate the situation.

Clarke, Yarbrough and the Stefanovics are understood to have returned to Sydney in the days that followed and a full week passed in silence before Clarke was told the incident was recorded shortly before it was made public on 18 January.

The vision shows a shirtless Clarke on the receiving end of a barrage of abuse from his irate girlfriend who yells at him and then slaps him.

“You took her on December 17th…You took her, you fucking dog,” Jade yells.

Clarke replies, “Baby, you’re wrong, you’re wrong.”

Dozens of people, including some children, can be seen witnessing the incident.

At one point, a woman points out to the warring group that “there are children there” as they curse loudly at each other.

One of the many memes that spawned in the aftermath of the fight that saw Clarke take on Karl Stefanovic.

Clarke, who tore his hamstring in the melee, told The Daily Telegraph on Wednesday night: “I accept full responsibility for this altercation and am devastated by my actions.”

The man who filmed the footage later said he thought something dramatic was on the cards when he saw Clarke and Stefanovic in a heated exchange.

“We were in the park and we saw something go off, and lo and behold, it was one of the most famous cricketers in the country and one of Australia’s most famous television identities fighting each other,” the man told the publication.
