Michael Clarke and Jade Yarbrough had been working on their relationship in Noosa before a family dinner turned into a violent fight in a park.
The cricketer is said to swear “black and blue” that he was spending time apart from the younger sister of Jasmine Yarbrough, the wife of TV star Karl Stefanovic, when he allegedly hooked up with ex-girlfriend Pip Edwards on 17th December.
Sources close to the couple told the daily telegraph that the couple had been on a break when Clarke is alleged to have spent time with her former fashion designer.
However, Edwards was reportedly shocked when he saw photos of Clarke and Jade on a reunion holiday in the popular Queensland city just weeks later.
Days before the pair exchanged obscenities in a wild brawl just yards from a fancy Noosa restaurant, they had been trying to mend their relationship.
On January 7th, Michael Clarke and Jade Yarbrough went to the beach and seemed happy and relaxed as they exchanged pleasantries and made fun of each other at the water’s edge.

The couple had been staying with Anthony Bell, a billionaire accountant, at his $10 million mansion in Noosaville located just a stone’s throw from the ocean.
On January 7, the couple went to the beach and seemed happy and relaxed as they exchanged banter and teased each other at the water’s edge.
It is understood that Yarbrough may have texted or talked to Edwards after seeing a text on her boyfriend’s phone.
On January 8, the cracks began to show with the couple pictured looking tense as they sat in armchairs at Bell’s mansion, with Clarke holding his girlfriend’s hand.
Tensions seemed high when a clearly upset Yarbrough pushed the cricketer and commentator as he followed her out of the spacious pool area.

Tensions peaked on January 10, when the couple joined Jasmine, Stefanovic and their host Bell at Noosa Waterfront Restaurant & Bar.
Sources say the night intensified after the group had enjoyed a round of drinks.
‘Everyone had only had a glass of wine, so this talk of a wild night is not true. They had just arrived at the restaurant and sat down when it happened,” a source said.
At about 9:30 p.m., the fight broke out, allegedly over recent text messages between Clarke and Edwards, and the allegation that she had cheated on Yarbrough with the fashion designer less than a month ago.
The dramatic footage shows a shirtless Clarke being yelled at and slapped by his hysterical girlfriend as others in the group try to defuse the fight.

Michael Clarke and Pip Edwards (pictured) had an on-off romance for two years before he moved on to Jade Yarbrough.
Jade and Michael stayed at celebrity accountant Anthony Bell’s $10 million mansion (above) in Noosaville, which has a private sandy beach, 150-foot frontage and solar-heated infinity pool.
The former cricketer, who reportedly injured a hamstring during the incident, can be seen struggling to keep up with Yarbrough as she angrily walks away.
‘I’m wrong? I’m fucking wrong! You are a fucking liar. Ican see everything. You called her,” Yarbrough yells.
Trying to reassure his girlfriend that he didn’t cheat on her, Clarke swears on her young daughter’s life that she was with Bell the night in question last month.
“Baby you’re wrong, you’re wrong,” he insists.
‘Baby, baby, Belly was in the house. I swear on my life, I swear on my life… that’s not true, that’s not true.
But Yarbrough does not believe her protests and claims that she spoke to Pip.
‘You’re lying to me. You are a piece of shit. I just talked to her. What’s wrong?’ she screams.
He replies: ‘It’s not true, it’s not true.’

Jasmine finally steps in, grabbing her distraught sister by the arm and leading her away as Clarke turns her attention to Stefanovic.
‘Karlos, I can tell you now shit, don’t go. She can, she can hit me, but you idiot,” says Clarke.
Instead of the fierce shouting match, Yarbrough is low-key in Brisbane while the former cricketer has taken full responsibility.
In a statement shared with the Daily Telegraph, Clarke said he was “absolutely devastated, I have put people I hold in the highest regard in this role.”
“My actions in the lead up to this altercation were nothing short of shameful and regrettable,” he continued.
“I am devastated that by my actions I have brought women of class and integrity, and my peers, into this situation.
‘I own this completely and I am the only one to blame.’
