Michael B. Jordan received an unwanted visit to his Los Angeles home ahead of the holidays from a man who falsely claimed to be a member of his “security.”
Law enforcement sources revealed this TMZ that the intruder was seen in Jordan’s front yard Wednesday afternoon.
After the 37-year-old actor’s security called the authorities, the suspect was promptly escorted “out of the building” while they “waited for the police.”
The intruder claimed he was part of Jordanian security as he spoke to police, who dutifully recorded all the suspect’s information.
While Jordan was home, the outlet reported at the time of the incident that he “left the house” while the man spoke with officers.
Although Jordan’s team initially told police they “just wanted to get him out of there,” they ultimately decided to “file a report anyway.”
LAPD ultimately took a violation report and “conducted their investigation and then forwarded the case to prosecutors for possible charges.”

TMZ noted that the intruder is not familiar with his visit to Jordan’s home.
The Creed star and the suspect never came face to face.
He joins a long list of celebrities, including Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson, who have had their homes broken into in broad daylight.
The terrifying encounter comes just a week after Jordan rammed his $429,000 Ferrari into a parked car after accidentally pressing the accelerator instead of the brake.
“It was a real accident,” an insider told DailyMail.com. ‘Michael was annoyed that he destroyed his car, but that can be resolved. He was embarrassed, and still is, because he accidentally put his foot on the accelerator and didn’t brake in time.

A reporter for LA-OC.tv said that when he tried to film the car and its occupants talking to police, Jordan’s security guard “tried to chase me away.”
Police officers did not administer a field sobriety test, the outlet reported. No charges have been filed in connection with the case.
Earlier this year, Jordan admitted to feeling “very lonely” – two years after his divorce from Lori Harvey.
