CBS Sports has announced that they will be bringing their Champions League coverage to Miami for the matches on November 28 and 29 in an event called ‘Destination Miami’.

The CBS crew announced the event during Tuesday’s show when Micah Richards and Jamie Carragher entered the set and tried to dance to salsa music to kick off the big reveal.

Fellow analyst Thierry Henry and host Kate Abdo looked on in shock as the duo of English football legends tried to dance.

“Tell me why there’s a man dancing and a man trying to step on cockroaches!” What are you doing,” Henry asked.

Carragher then shouted out ‘Miami’, before Richards excitedly shouted: ‘Miami, it’s coming baby.’

Carragher had tried to channel his inner Miami Vice by donning a long white jacket for the announcement. But the crew joked that he looked more like a scientist.

Richards eventually tried but failed to persuade Abdo to get up from the desk and dance with him.

Along with the regular crew of Henry, Richards, Carragher, Abdo and Peter Schmeichel, USMNT legends Clint Dempsey and Charlie Davis will also be part of the Miami show.

Last season, the show took the plunge of broadcasting a show live from Brooklyn, New York, and ‘Destination Miami’ will seemingly continue the new tradition.

Miami became the center of attention in football earlier this year after Lionel Messi signed with Major League Soccer cellar dwellers Inter Miami.

Messi recently quashed rumors that he was planning to leave Miami on loan during the MLS season and temporarily return to Europe or Saudi Arabia.
